H.E. Eng. Haitham Al-Zahaf
Minister of Youth
Serves as Libya's Minister of Youth, advancing youth empowerment through inclusive policies, leadership development, civic engagement, and strategic partnerships that enable young Libyans to contribute to national development.
H.E. Eng. Haitham Al-Zahaf holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and is a graduate of the African Development Bank's Young Leaders Program. Before his appointment as Minister of Youth, he served in senior leadership roles within the Ministry of Youth, including Director of Youth Empowerment and Director of Youth Programs and Activities. He also served as Director of Public Affairs at the Libyan Youth Hostels Association and chaired national committees on youth camps and local youth council elections. A former member of the Arab Youth Council and the African Union Youth body, he is committed to developing the next generation of Libyan leaders.
