Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth, affirmed that Bahrain’s Hope Network initiative represents a distinctive international youth partnership, aimed at enhancing youth projects and initiatives among member states. She highlighted that the network will provide a platform for members to unify efforts, support initiatives, and share the best practices in youth engagement.
The minister noted that Hope Network aligns with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to invest in young people’s potential and promote cooperation among nations committed to fostering hope. This initiative also reflects the dedicated support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for empowering young national talents on an international scale.
Minister Tawfiqi highlighted the initiative by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, to establish an international coalition through the Hope Network to support youth development and instill hope, offering young people the opportunity to participate fully in the process of growth and innovation.
The Hope Network will enable member states to endorse the Charter of Hope, a key document presenting Bahrain’s objective for this coalition, aimed at establishing a roadmap to unify member efforts, empower youth, and facilitate the exchange of successful youth experiences. This collaborative framework seeks to enhance international awareness of the importance of inspiring hope among youth and the collective efforts needed to achieve this goal.
With 29 youth ministers and sector leaders from a number of countries, along with officials from regional and international organisations, Hope Network will showcase the best practices in youth engagement and foster experience-sharing to support young people in making a positive impact on their communities and countries.
