Her Excellency Ms. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, received Her Excellency Ms. Stefanie Lynn Hallett, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At the outset of the meeting, the Minister welcomed the Ambassador, praising the strong and longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United States of America, and the continuous development these ties are witnessing across various fields, particularly in the youth sector.
During the meeting, the Minister and the U.S. Ambassador reviewed ways to further enhance joint cooperation and discussed mechanisms to empower youth and develop their leadership and professional capabilities. They also explored a number of proposals for joint youth programs aimed at fostering the exchange of expertise between the youth of both countries.
The meeting also reviewed the outcomes of the global network supporting youth competitiveness, the “Hope Network,” and the vital role played by the United States as an active member. The discussion highlighted the network’s strategic objectives, its achievements in empowering youth across member states, and its future plans.
For her part, Ambassador Stefanie Lynn Hallett expressed her pride in the strong relations and close ties between the two friendly nations, affirming her country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Kingdom in this vital sector. She noted that such collaboration would open new horizons for exchanging innovative experiences and advancing youth skills, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
