H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth, and Sport in Cambodia, is known for his pivotal role in reforming Cambodia’s educational system. With a background in economics and public administration, he has been instrumental in implementing the Education, Youth, and Sport Reform Strategy (2018–2023), focusing on expanding educational access, enhancing curriculum relevance, and developing digital education. Under his leadership, the Ministry has promoted STEM education, infrastructure development, and teacher training, aiming to prepare Cambodian youth for a modern workforce. Dr. Naron’s work is aligned with Cambodia’s goal to build a knowledge-based, inclusive, and globally competitive society.
