Her Excellency Mrs. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirmed that the Kingdom continues to solidify its pioneering approach to youth empowerment. This commitment stems from the Royal Vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Great King of the country , and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
She also highlighted the dedication and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs. His Highness’s efforts have significantly enhanced the role of youth as active partners in development, contributing across various sectors.
This came as the Minister of Youth Affairs chaired the third meeting of the “Hope Network”, held via video conference with the participation of network members. She noted that the Hope Network has become an effective international platform contributing to the development of youth initiatives and programs, praising the member states’ efforts to transform ideas and ambitions into impactful initiatives and sustainable opportunities.
The Minister emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and successful experiences among member states to develop youth initiatives and improve the efficiency of programs directed at them. She reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to supporting the Hope Network and enhancing international cooperation in youth empowerment to achieve a positive and lasting impact.
During the meeting, the agenda for joint action was reviewed, including current and future initiatives aimed at strengthening youth empowerment and expanding cooperation between member states. The participants also discussed several ideas and proposals to support the development of youth initiatives and enhance their sustainable impact on both regional and international levels.
In conclusion, the Minister praised the active participation and constructive dialogue, which reflected a spirit of joint cooperation. She stressed the importance of continued efforts to enhance opportunities for youth in member states to achieve sustainable results and a tangible positive impact.
