Her Excellency Mrs. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, affirmed that the global network supporting youth competitiveness, the Hope Network, launched by the Kingdom of Bahrain, embodies a pioneering international model for promoting global cooperation and youth empowerment. She highlighted the continued support and attention of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, who views the Hope Network as a prominent model for unifying international efforts to empower young people and enhance their active role in driving development and shaping a brighter future for generations to come.
This came as Her Excellency chaired the second virtual meeting of the Hope Network, which witnessed wide participation from network members and representatives of member countries. The Minister praised the network’s achievements in 2025, including its expansion to 47 members — reflecting its growing presence on the international stage. The network also documented 34 pioneering youth practices that showcase inspiring models in empowerment and innovation, in addition to developing its digital platforms to become a global hub for knowledge exchange and expertise in the field of youth development.
Her Excellency commended the active role of the network’s members and their ongoing efforts to exchange experiences and share outstanding practices among countries, noting that these efforts have contributed to expanding the network’s reach and strengthening its global impact in serving youth causes and empowering them.
The meeting reviewed the key achievements accomplished by the network in recent months, along with upcoming initiatives and youth projects. It also presented the schedule of activities for 2026, which includes a series of meetings and programs aimed at enhancing international cooperation in the field of youth work.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister of Youth Affairs emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts among member countries to achieve the network’s vision and goals in youth empowerment. She reaffirmed that today’s youth are the partners of the future and the driving force of development across all fields, calling for sustained efforts to strengthen international collaboration under the umbrella of the Hope Network to help build a generation of youth who are more aware, creative, and enterprising.
