Best Practice Overview

The initiative organizes competitions across diverse fields such as technology, science, mathematics, arts, literature, and the Holy Qur’an, with the goal of discovering and nurturing talented youth in Kuwait. It provides guidance, mentorship, and both financial and moral support to help young people reach their potential in a competitive environment.

 

Objectives:

Preparation Phase:

The Public Authority for Youth coordinates with the Ministry of Education to nominate qualified supervisors, trainers, and judges specialized in each respective field. These experts are responsible for developing the competition guidelines and standards, which are then reviewed, approved, and distributed to all public and private schools.

Following this, a targeted marketing campaign is launched through official social media platforms, accompanied by the development and rollout of the official registration website. Project managers are assigned specific responsibilities to ensure effective planning, coordination, and supervision throughout the initiative.

 

Participation Conditions:

  • Must be Kuwaiti.
  • Age must be between 7 and 18 years at the time of registration.
  • Individual participation only – group entries are not permitted.
  • Registration must be completed exclusively through the official Youth Creativity League website.
  • Participants must commit to attending all stages of the competition.
  • Only one competition entry is allowed per participant within the League.
  • Disqualification will occur if any eligibility criteria (age, technical, or general rules) are not met.

 

Implementation Phase

  • Registration is conducted through the official online portal within a specified timeframe.
  • Participants undergo specialized training programs tailored to each competition field.
  • Preliminary rounds are held based on established evaluation criteria, leading to the final rounds, which are judged by expert committees.
  • A closing ceremony is held under the patronage of senior officials, during which winners receive official certificates, trophies, and financial awards.
  • Organizing and supervisory staff are formally recognized for their contributions.

 

Post-Initiative Phase

  • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation survey to assess satisfaction and collect feedback from participants.
  • Prepare a detailed final report featuring accurate statistics, an analysis of strengths and weaknesses, and recommendations for future editions.
  • Ensure full documentation of all stages of the project, including official photos and videos.
  • Hold evaluation meetings with supervising committees to review findings and discuss improvements.
