The Arab Youth Center was founded to fulfill the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, aiming to empower young Arabs and meet their needs. The center aims to provide a platform for youth to enhance their skills and support innovation and creativity. It also conducts research on young Arabs to assist decision-makers shape policies that support their development.

Eng. Fatima Ahmed Alhallami

Executive Director of Arab Youth Center

Eng. Fatima Alhallami has served as the Executive Director of the Arab Youth Center since January 2025. She is among the distinguished young Emirati leaders recognized for her forward-looking vision and diverse expertise across energy, climate, diplomacy, and youth empowerment.

She has an impressive record in international negotiations and institutional work. She has been part of the UAE’s negotiation team under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. She represented the UAE at COP27, COP28, and COP29, focusing on the key tracks of “Action for Climate Empowerment” and “Gender Balance,” where she played a pivotal role in amplifying the UAE’s global presence on strategic sustainability issues. Fatima strongly believes in the values of innovation, empowerment, and sustainability. She strives to develop youth ecosystems that align with global transformations and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals across the Arab world. Her professional journey reflects a blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership, with experience across both the public and private sectors. She worked with leading national institutions such as the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), where she served as a Process Engineer, and at the Office of the UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change, where she contributed to advancing the country’s climate diplomacy and international engagement efforts. She has also participated in prestigious international leadership programs at world-class universities such as Harvard and Stanford, reflecting her ability to bridge technical knowledge with visionary leadership. Fatima’s outstanding contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including the First-Class Order of Zayed II awarded by the President of the UAE in 2024, the UAE Youth Award for Creativity and Excellence (2022), the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance (2011), and First Place in the Khalifa Bin Mitrif Award for Creativity and Excellence. She previously served as Chairperson of the Al Ain Youth Council (2021) and as a member of the Young Leaders Program for Sustainable Development Goals (2022). She currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at UAE University.
