Best Practice Overview

Outbound Travel Program

Bahrain Youth Hostels has organized transformative experiences for over 75 Bahraini youth from diverse backgrounds. Their adventures include summiting iconic peaks such as Kilimanjaro, Jebel Shams, and Mount Elbrus, where they proudly raised the Bahraini flag. In addition to mountaineering, they have made significant contributions to education by sending teachers to a village in Kenya, enhancing local learning opportunities. Their expeditions also featured cultural immersion trips to Alola, Hatta, and Fayoum, as well as community development efforts in Zanzibar, where they helped reconstruct schools. A medical mission in Nepal provided essential health aid to underserved populations. Their latest trip to Kyrgyzstan added an element of surprise, with participants learning the destination only upon arrival. These initiatives highlight their dedication to enriching youth lives through cultural exchange and community support.
